On this map you can see Senate House, with Torrington Square to the north, Russell Square Gardens to the east, Montague Place to the south, and Malet Street to the west. Stewart House is adjacent to the south-east block of Senate House. The north wing ofthe British Museumis visible just below Montague Place.

The nearest tube stations are Russell Square (Piccadilly line), which is on Bernard Street, off the north-east corner of Russell Square Gardens, and Goodge Street (Northern line West End branch), which is on Tottenham Court Road (both 0.25 mi).
